Evernote is one of the oldest note-taking application, but provides the most functional experience with heaps of powerful features. It’s free and available on almost all devices.

Bear Notes

A brand new entry into the space, Bear has made a massive impact on the note-taking community. With hashtag organisation combined with distraction free writing, this iOS/Mac experience is a great selection.


Used mainly by educators, students and business people. OneNote provides a strong, robust way to organise notes into colour notebooks. Microsoft lovers will adore this experience.
